Columbia makes list of top places to live

Columbia has made RelocateAmerica.com’s list of America’s 100 Top Places to Live for 2008.

“There are numerous things for the entire family to see and do throughout the city. Whether you like visiting places important in history, enjoying the arts, playing or watching sports, attending festivals, or participating in outdoor activities, Columbia is the place for you,” the Web site says.

Greenville and Charlotte made RelocateAmerica’s list of Top 10 places to live in the country. Other South Carolina cities on the Top 100 list included Aiken, Charleston and Rock Hill.

Cities and towns are nominated throughout the year and judged by the Web site’s editorial team. The list is determined by statistics and feedback from the people who live and work in the communities, according to the Web site.
