Summer is here, but it’s never too late for flowers

It’s Fourth of July weekend and you never quite got to the garden this year. Too late? It depends. If you’re planning a full-blown, re-do of the backyard with trees, shrubs and flowers, it might be better to wait until prime perennial planting season this fall.
