Thinking of you while I’m on vacation ...

Already looking forward to meeting more great folks

Today begins my long-awaited monthlong vacation. In my more than 20 years — — never mind just how many — at The State, I’ve had the privilege of meeting and writing about some really wonderful people throughout the Midlands. But despite a generous vacation package, I’ve never had more than a week or so at one time to simply not write about anything.
