Police Blotters

LEXINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF

Forest Grove Circle, 400 block: Police were called to a home at 9:30 a.m. Thursday after the resident said a 13-year-old student was harassing him by phone. The man told deputies that the student attended the school he worked at and he had called the man numerous times. When deputies confronted the student, it was apparent from his knowledge of what was said and the times of the calls that if the student didn’t make the calls, he was in the room when they were made and knew who did make them.

He said the safe contained jewelry and paperwork along with his blank checks. His Social Security card and other forms of identification were in the safe.

Central Avenue, 800 block: A woman was arrested at 11 p.m. Monday after police saw her and a man in a heated argument in the middle of the street.
