1. David Pearson. Ten wins at the track "Too Tough to Tame." Any questions?

2. Dale Earnhardt. With nine wins before his death in 2000, you wonder if he’d have eventually topped Pearson.

3. Jeff Gordon. Seven wins, three straight Southern 500s. Not even Pearson did that.

4. Cale Yarborough. The ultimate local-boy-makes-good. Won five Southern 500s.

6. Bobby Allison. Won five Southern 500s, including one in an AMC Matador. Top that.

7. Bill Elliott. Won three Southern 500s, two spring races. Also won "Winston Million" bonus at Darlington in 1985.

8. Darrell Waltrip. Won five races between 1977-1992, but only one fall classic.

9. Glenn "Fireball" Roberts. Won just three Cup races, but also won two ragtop races, in 1957 and 1959.

10. Richard Petty. Not one of "The King’s" better tracks, but he still won three times.
