Jay Giving USC Some Thought

November 20, 2008

Clemson commitment OL JK Jay (6-7 275) of Christ Church will make an unofficial visit to Georgia Saturday. "Their coaches are coming to my school Friday," Jay said. He will set two of his official visits with Clemson and Georgia.

He's also looking at USC, Miami, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Florida and Alabama and will try to visit as many of those schools as possible before he signs in December. Jay attended Clemson's practice Tuesday night and talked with interim coach Dabo Swinney. "He understands and said he's there just like he's always been," Jay said. "I'm still committed to Clemson. I'm just waiting to see what shakes down."

Jay said he is getting some push from USC as he hears from recruiter Brad Lawing about once a week.
