USC-Clemson will be noon kickoff

Published: November 23, 2008

The South Carolina vs. Clemson game will kick off at noon Saturday and be televised, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Sunday.

The annual instate rivalry game between the Gamecocks and Tigers will be played at Clemson and be aired on ESPN2. Eric Collins and David Norrie are the scheduled announcers.

Clemson is 6-5 after beating Virginia and must beat USC to become bowl-eligible. The Gamecocks (7-4) already are eligible for postseason play.

Clemson leads the all-time series 64-37-4 and won 23-21 last year in Columbia. The last three meetings have been decided by a total of nine points.
