Greetings from Tampa!
I came to the right place to sweat out a cold. Have been coughing like a coalminer and sucking down Robitussin since arriving Friday. But at least the weathers been nice two straight days in the 80s.
Went to the second half of the Bucs-Raiders game Sunday as a dry run for the Outback Bowl. As the final seconds ticked off the Bucs season, the crowd booed. But it wasnt a lusty, Philly-type boo. More like something youd hear at a Dodgers game.
Raymond James Stadium is a great setting, except for the cannon blasts from the pirate ship. But that will be muzzled Thursday, when its supposed to be a little cooler. Theyre saying low 70s.
