Recruiters from North Carolina, LSU and Tennessee are scheduled to visit with Greenwood DE Sam Montgomery (6-5 240) Thursday. And his mother said Wednesday afternoon they plan to cut more schools from the list soon.

"We will talk again tonight seriously about trimming the list," Mrs. Montgomery said.

Clemson also has been in touch and invited them in for an unofficial visit this weekend once they return from Tennessee. But Mrs. Montgomery did not think they would make the visit.

Montgomery has on his list USC, Clemson, Michigan, North Carolina, LSU and Tennessee.
