Updated 4 p.m.
Fort Jackson doctors have confirmed a total of 20 H1N1, or "swine", flu cases since April, and are awaiting lab test results on 11 patients who tested positive for Type A influenza, to determine the exact strain they have.

Earlier this month, the base reported that confirmed H1N1 flu cases totaled four.

The majority of those people have recovered and are back at normal duties, Fort Jackson spokesman Pat Jones said.
