E. Ray Moore, the head of Exodus Mandate Project, an organization that promotes Christian K-12 home-schooling, and Herb Silverman, president of the Secular Coalition of America, will debate the question "Is America a Christian Nation?" during a forum Thursday at USC's Darla Moore School of Business.

The 7 p.m. debate in the Belk Auditorium is sponsored by Pastafarians, a USC student organization that describes itself as a place for atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, secular humanists and skeptics.

Moore, president of Frontline Ministries, is a retired army reserve chaplain who has lobbied for the return of the 10 Commandments to the public square. Silverman is a mathematics professor at the College of Charleston who has fought to remove references to God in public oaths. The debate is open to the public.
