Lights Before Christmas closed because of rain

As a result of inclement weather, Lights Before Christmas at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden will be closed this evening but will reopen Monday, zoo spokeswoman Lindsey Burke said.

The show runs 6-9 p.m. through Jan. 3, with breaks on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Eve. The busiest nights always are the weekends closest to Christmas.

To avoid the lines at the ticket booths, you can purchase tickets online at riverbanks.org for $8 for adults and $6 for ages 3-12.
