Kellam & Pettit represents national mortgage lenders, financial institutions and state and federal agencies in commercial litigation, bankruptcy, creditors' rights, collections and real estate issues.

Rogers Townsend & Thomas represents corporate and institutional clients, focusing on mortgage and banking, insurance, real estate, construction, title services and wealth and estate planning.

"Kellam & Pettit is a perfect fit for us because of our complementary practice areas," said Sam Waters, chairman of Rogers Townsend & Thomas, "and the merger fulfills our goal of providing additional resources and professional services for our clients on a more regional basis."
