Extreme Makeover: Bus arrives in neighborhood near Loris

A bus for the reality show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" arrived in a Loris neighborhood at 8:45 a.m.

The bus pulled into the Cane Branch Road neighborhood in the Allsbrook community. The bus came up S.C. 22, turned right on to U.S. 701 North, took a right turn on Clio Road and then across S.C. 19 to Gerald Drive.

Police had the streets blocked around the area.

Over the next seven days volunteers will work around the clock to build the family a new home.

The ABC reality show builds a home for a needy family in a week and has paired with local builders Sterling Homes.

Four-time NASCAR champion Jeff Gordon will serve as the celebrity builder.
