Four Richland Northeast football players signed college scholarship offers on Tuesday morning at the school.
C.J. Wilson, Jordan Thomas and Dontrail McDaniel will continue their playing careers in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
Wilson, a 6-foot-4, 275-pound offensive tackle, will play in Orangeburg with two-time defending MEAC champion South Carolina State. The three-year varsity starter was a Shrine Bowl pick and earned a spot on the Region 5-4A all-star team.
Thomas, another three-year starter on the Cavaliers offensive line, accepted an offer to play at Howard. The 6-2, 290-pound guard played in the North-South All-Star Game game in Myrtle Beach and was an all-region pick.
McDaniel signed at North Carolina A&T. The 6-2, 225-pounder was a three-year starter at defensive end.
Jaquez Jenkins, a four-year starter at center, accepted an offer to play at Mars Hill College. Jenkins (6-0, 275) served as a team captain in 2009, and the all-region team and was selected to play in the North-South All-Star Game.
