USC golf surges into second

At Tallahassee, Fla., USC shot a tournament-best team total of 5-over par and moved into second place, one shot behind Florida State, at the Seminole Intercollegiate. Wesley Bryan is third individually, even-par for the tournament and five shots back of the leader. Paul Woodbury is 1-over and tied for seventh.

LSU sweeps USC

South Carolina was shut down offensively as the Gamecocks were swept by LSU, 9-0 and 5-0. Kelsey Goodwin took the loss in the first game and Ashley Chastain was the loser in the nightcap for USC (9-13, 0-4 SEC).
