USC is playing host to a coaching clinic this weekend at Williams-Brice Stadium.
The three-day event, which kicked off Thursday night, is open to coaches from any level of football.
A full schedule of events is set for today. South Carolina native Dal Shealy, a former president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the executive director of the FCA Football Coaches Ministry, will be the first speaker.
A trio of speakers, including former USC quarterback Steve Taneyhill, also will address the crowd before lunch. Taneyhill, the coach at Chesterfield High, will speak on quarterback play in the spread system. Other speakers include Gaffney's Phil Strickland and Fairfield Central's Reggie Kennedy.
During the afternoon session, the featured speaker will be Rich Bisaccia, associate head coach and special teams coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Participants will watch the Gamecocks practice at 4 p.m.
Following dinner in the Zone, attendees will listen to a master coaches panel, featuring Palmetto State coaching veterans Willie Jeffries, Dave Gutshall, Allen Sitterle, Joe Turbeville and Jimmy Wallace.
On Saturday, the USC football strength and conditioning staff will demonstrate weight room tips and techniques. The clinic will wrap up with the Gamecocks' first scrimmage of the spring at Williams-Brice Stadium.
