North Carolina ATH Gains USC Offer

March 23, 2010

ATH Vad Lee (6-3 210) of Durham has seven offers and they are from USC, North Carolina, NC State, Maryland, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, and Duke. Lee plays quarterback for his school but says USC is looking at him at different positions.

"USC likes me more as an athlete," said Lee. "I played wide receiver as a sophomore and moved to quarterback last season. NC State, Duke, Georgia Tech, and Maryland are starting to look as me more as a qb." Lee is also hearing from Clemson, Miami, Florida State, Notre Dame, and Oregon.

He has been to junior days at both North Carolina and NC State. "That was my first time at NC State," he said. "They have really nice facilities. I had been to UNC before. The coaches showed me a good time." Lee also has taken in a spring practice at Duke. "They were hitting real hard and that got me going," said Lee.

He says he wants to visit USC but is going to wait. "I want to hear from someone down there before I decide to visit," he said. "I know they offered but I haven't talked to anyone. I'm definitely interested. It's close to home."

As a junior, Lee passed for 2013 yards and ten touchdowns. He rushed for 650 more and another 12 scores. He does not have any favorites.
