Christian preparing to shorten list

DB Ahmad Christian (5-10 195) of Jacksonville, FL says he is ready to start narrowing his list. "I'm still open right now, but in a couple of weeks, I'll be narrowing it down to five," said Christian.
Over the summer, Christian took a "college road trip" with Andrew Buie and visited USC, Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Florida, and Vanderbilt. Of possible destinations for official visits, Christian said, "I will definitely go back to Auburn. I will probably go back to South Carolina."
His offers are from USC, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Louisville, Tennessee, South Florida, Ole Miss, Florida International, Marshall, Connecticut, and Purdue.
He says he wants to commit early so that he can focus on "school and stuff". He did not name a leader.
