The lawyer for an Orangeburg mother charged in the deaths of her two young sons said Tuesday he is postponing his request for a bail bond hearing this week until he receives discovery information from state prosecutors.
That information would tell him more about the case that law enforcement is building and enable him to make a better argument to free 29-year-old Shaquan Duley before trial, said attorney Carl B. Grant.
Grant said he also has made a motion to 1st Circuit Solicitor David Pascoe’s office to produce that information. Prosecutors must produce it within 30 days.
