Dutch Fork enjoyed a solid overall performance on Saturday at the annual Lake Murray Invitational cross country meet hosted by Chapin at Crooker Creek Park.
The Silver Foxes boys team finished fourth in the 20-team field, while the girls placed sixth among the 18 entries.
Roland Hakes continued his impressive early-season showing with a second-place performance (16:13.86) behind champion Kevin Ketner of Nation Ford. Hakes had solid backing from Zac Jaynes (19th, 17:18.82), Jesse Richards (23rd, 17:24.18), Jo Klasnic (42nd, 17:52.70) and Michael Bradley (45th, 17:57.58).
