Ridge View and Irmo secured Region 4-4A cross country championships on Thursday at Sandhills Research Park.
The Class 4A top-ranked Blazers breezed to their fourth straight region title and senior leader Joe Keitt claimed individual honors with a winning time of 15:47. Teammates Mike Lantz (3rd, 16:19) and Raeven Lantz (7th, 17:01) also earned all-region recognition. Tyre Ware (8th, 17:04) and Donque Lewis (9th, 17:05) were Ridge Views two other scoring runners.
The Blazers closed with a 28-66 edge over second-place Irmo.

The Irmo girls had a similarly easy time of it, scoring 23 to beat out second-place Dutch Fork by 41 points.
Four of Irmos five scoring runners made the all-region cut. Savannah Radenbaugh led the Jackets pack with a first-place performance and a time of 20:02, followed by Janay Chisolm (3rd, 20:16), Mary Grace Hutchinson (4th, 20:19) and Anna Buford (6th, 21:01). Aisha Maddox (9th, 21:28) closed out the scoring lineup.
Dutch Forks Roland Hakes (2nd, 15:57), Spring Valleys Wiliam Ivey (4th, 16:37) and Andrew Jordan (5th, 16:42) and Aaron Sirko (6th, 16:53) of Irmo were the other boys all-region runners.
Dutch Fork runners claimed the three other all-region positions in the girls division . Amelia Syfert (2nd, 20:05), Taylor Quindlen (5th, 20:48) and Haley Saxby (7th, 21:09).
