Greenville More than a dozen South Carolina biotech firms will share $2.6 million in federal grants from the new health care reform law.
The Greenville News reported Saturday that the money is part of $1 billion the U.S. Health and Human Services Department and National Institutes of Health are giving to more than 3,000 small biotech companies to help create jobs.
South Carolina companies sharing the money include Immunologix of Charleston, CreatiVasc Medical of Greenville and Poly-Med Inc. of Anderson.
