The USC Gamma Nu chapter of Sigma Chi Fraternity held it's 65th annual Derby Days fundraiser to benefit Palmetto Health Children's Hospital and the Children's Miracle Network. Last year the fraternity raised $13,000 and hope to reach this year's goal of $20,000.

Sigma Chi brother's and ten different sororities participate all week in fundraising activities like a silent auction, powder puff football tournament, dance competition and a scavenger hunt are among some of the activities. "It's a full week of activities," says Nick Kawozynski, a Derby Day's board member, who admits exhaustion from all of the activity. "It's for the kids though, so we can't complain."
