When Brookland-Cayce and Cardinal Newman meet at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Cage, the Bearcats will take the field in pink and white uniforms in support of Soccer for a Cure, an organization that raises money for cancer research and treatment through soccer teams and tournaments across the nation.
The matchup should be an exciting one. The Bearcats (7-3-1) are ranked ninth in Class 3A. The Cardinals (7-3-0) are No. 2 in SCISA and have won six in a row.
