A Lexington County convenience store clerk has been charged with selling tobacco to a fourth teen boy in exchange for a sexual favor, the Lexington County Sheriff's Department reported.

Terrence Everett Bryant, 50, of Lexington was served Wednesday with an arrest warrant on a charge of committing a lewd act upon a child under the age of 16. Earlier this week, he was charged with three other counts of the same crime. He was in the Lexington County Detention Center on $105,000 bond, the sheriff's department reported.

Bryant is accused of selling tobacco to boys, ages 12 to 15, in exchange for spanking them, the sheriff's department said. The fourth teen to come forward was 15.

"The 15-year-old boy told detectives that it was well-known amongst teen-age boys that Bryant would provide boys with tobacco products in exchange for spanking the boys on their buttocks," the sheriff's department said in a press release.

Anyone with information about additional instances involving Bryant should call the sheriff's department at (803) 785-8230.
