Two people are dead, another in serious condition after a tractor-trailer/car collision Tuesday night on S.C 321 at I.W. Hutto Road in Lexington County.

According to Lexington County Coroner Harry Harman, the 18-wheeler was traveling southbound on Highway 321 and collided with a Honda Accord which entered the highway traveling eastbound. The driver of the Honda, Crystal Torres, 15, and her brother Bryan Torres, 10, both from Gaston, died at the scene from their injuries.

A third passenger in the Honda, identified by the highway patrol as Xitlali Torres,14, and the driver of the 18-wheeler were transported to Palmetto Health Richland hospital for treatment. All three passengers in the Honda were wearing seatbelts. The accident remains under investigation by the Lexington County Coroner's Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol MAIT Team.

What are some of the features of Disqus commenting?
