A golf cart traveling on Bluff Road near Williams-Brice Stadium was hit by a car during the USC-Florida game Saturday afternoon.

Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the cart was hit from behind, causing it to flip over. The cart’s single occupant was transported by EMS to an area hospital. The condition of the individual, who has not been identified, was unknown Saturday evening.

The driver of the vehicle has been charged with driving too fast for conditions, troopers said.
