Marine Cpl. Steven Diaz was hit by a roadside bomb in Iraq in 2005. He was riddled with shrapnel, nearly lost his foot, and was blinded in his left eye and has shrapnel in his brain. He also suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and seizures. Today Diaz is going to school and manning a help line for Hidden Wounds, which assists other service members in dealing with PTSD and thoughts of suicide.
