LEXINGTON 1: Lexington Technology Center Future Farmers of America members recently continued its annual tradition of presenting poinsettias to South Carolina's governor. This year, FFA members presented poinsettias to Michael Haley, center, First Gentleman of South Carolina. The poinsettias are decorating the Governor’s Mansion during the holiday season. This is the eighth year poinsettias grown by FFA members have decorated the mansion. The students grow poinsettias in the greenhouse facility as part of their training in plant science and production. They grow and sell about 500 poinsettias each year. All funds raised from poinsettia sales benefit the FFA. LEXINGTON 1/USED WITH PERMISSION
