ROGER EDWARDS, of Sweerbriar Circle, won the Decorate Cayce holiday contest. Garrett Humphries won second place and John Hiatt came in third.

LEXINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT DETECTIVE STEPHEN COLLINS won the Lexington County Multi-Disciplinary Team Member of the Year award. It is presented by the Dickerson Center for Children.

MILITARY

AIR FORCE AIRMAN RAVEN GORDON graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. The son of Ramsey and Patricia Gordon, he is a 2011 graduate of Pelion High School.

ARMY PVT. WESLEY FORE graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia. The son of Tammy Fore, he is a 2007 graduate of Brookland-Cayce High School.

AIR FORCE AIRMAN RYAN KING graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. The brother of Kristina Valentine, he is a 2008 graduate of Ridge View High School.
