Last night, the late-night comedians pretty much took aim at the taxes of Mitt Romney, the front-runner in the polls
THE COLBERT REPORT
On Romneys rambling response about releasing his tax records during Mondays debate: So there you have it folks, he will probably mostly maybe-ly release his tax returns in April, assuming he is finished his answer by then because by the next day he had not gotten to the verb.
On Romneys speaking fees: They dont pay him very much, just $374,000 last year. Think about it folks, if that was his entire salary, Mitts income level would drop all the way down to the top 1 percent.
Even though hes a multi-multi-millionaire, (Romney) only pays 15 percent in taxes. 15 percent? Thats not a tax. Thats barely a tip.
But theres some bad news for Mitt Romney today. Standard & Poors downgraded him from bland to boring.
