TIME FOR MORE GOOD, CLEAN FUN with Keep the Midlands Beautiful’s Botanical Parkway clean up, 9 a.m.-noon Saturday. Volunteers should meet at the corner of U.S. 378 and Botanical Parkway by 8:45 a.m. Parking available at Moore, Taylor and Thomas, P.A. (1700 Sunset Blvd.) Open to ages 14 and older, no registration required but a parent or guardian must sign a waiver for volunteers ages 18 and younger and youth groups of three or more must be accompanied by an adult. RICHLAND COUNTY GRANTS OFFICE will hold a free grant workshop 2-4 p.m. Wednesday in Council Chambers, 2020 Hampton St. The workshop is designed for eligible nonprofit organizations interested in applying for the Accommodations Tax and Hospitality Grants (proposals are due by 5 p.m. Feb. 24). JUDY’S RESTAURANT at the S.C. State Farmers Market, 3843 Charleston Highway, West Columbia, is supporting the Souper Bowl of Caring through Feb. 4. For every bowl of soup sold and for every container taken home to enjoy on Super Bowl Sunday, a contribution will be made to Harvest Hope Food Bank. Market visitors will be able to make monetary donations in Corbett Building soup pots, and collection containers will be available for canned goods and nonperishable food donations. www.souperbowl.org

FUNDRAISERS

SPEAK FOR ME, a gospel concert dedicated to the special needs community, is slated for 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the Eau Claire High School theater, 4800 Monticello Road. Performers include Christyne McClellan, Tavis Brunson, Regina Skeeters, Davyne, Trinity Dance, Henry Flowers and Kristen Baker.
