Outside of his cabin is a collection of goat and pot belly pig skulls and vertebrae soaking in soapy water waiting to be cleaned up and bleached. Federal permet to pick up and collect road kill. Naturalist Tom Mancke teaches natural history at Hammond private school and is known for his quirky personality and an aversion to modern-day technology. He teaches classes in and out of a cabin in the back of campus called the Primitive Technology Center.
