Myrtle Beach bank robbed by man dressed as woman + photos

Myrtle Beach police are searching for a man who (dressed as a woman) robbed an Oak Street bank, said Capt. David Knipes.

Police were called at 11:41 a.m. Thursday to a TD bank branch at 2003 N. Oak St., for the robbery, Knipes said in a news release.

The robber received an undisclosed amount of money before he fled.

Officers searched for the suspect but were unable to find him.

No one was hurt during the robbery, the release stated.

Initial reports indicated the man did not show a weapon, Knipes said.
