Orangeburg County deputies are looking for a suspect in a shooting Thursday night.

Deputies think that Demetrice Dwight Perry, of Summerville, is connected to the shooting death of 50-year-old Silas Williams. The two were reportedly seen arguing at Peach Shed Road in Orangeburg County shortly before Williams was shot about 10:45. When deputies arrived at the scene, Williams was laying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his stomach. He died later.

Deputies are looking for any information regarding Perry’s whereabouts. If you have information on the incident or Perry contact Crime Stoppers at 888-Crime-SC or www.sccrimestoppers.com.
