Man killed in Lexington County wreck

A 56-year-old man was killed Tuesday morning in a wreck in Lexington County.

James Ellis Yancey, of Lexington, was killled when his 1984 Ford struck a utility pole at S.C. 6 and Bethany Church Road in Lexington about 11:15 a.m. said Lexington County Coroner Harry Harman. He was transported to Lexington Medical Center after the wreck, where he was prounounced dead. An autopsy will be performed tomorrow in Lexington to determine how Yancey died.
