Sumter County man dies in wreck

A Dalzell man after his car wrecked into a tree in Sumter County Tuesday morning.

Sumter County Coroner Harvin Bullock said that James Edward Boyce Sr., 76, after the car he was driving left the roadway at Live Oak Road and hit a tree about 11:50 a.m. He was wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. Bullock said that an autopsy will be performed tomorrow to determine how he died.
