"Travel Lightly Day," which encourages carpooling, public transportation, cycling, rollerblading, skateboarding, scooting and good-old-fashioned walking, took place on the USC campus Tuesday morning. In celebration of USC's receipt of the League of American Bicyclists' "Bike Friendly University" bronze level award, a bike-friendly parade took place Tuesday morning from the Strom Thurmond Wellness and Fitness Center and ended on Greene Street during the USC farmer's market. USC president Harris Pastides and his wife, Patricia, joined the parade as well.
