Georgetown put together a six-run rally in the bottom of the sixth inning to eliminate Chapin from the Class 3A state playoffs on Thursday.
The Eagles took a 1-0 in the top of the first inning on Taylor Morgans run-scoring single. Morgan held the host Bulldogs scoreless for five inning before a leadoff triple in the sixth marked the beginning of the end for Jason Jolleys team.
Chapin finished a 24-5 record.
