Haley: Bobby Jindal or Condi Rice should be VP

Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney may not yet know who will be his vice presidential pick, but Gov. Nikki Haley has some ideas for him.

“I think there are amazing candidates for VP and believe whoever Gov. Romney chooses will be part of a dream team. My preference would be Bobby Jindal or Condi Rice,” wrote Haley Wednesday when asked who is her vice presidential pick. The comment was made during a Facebook chat with South Carolinians.

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice both have been mentioned by the national press as possible running mates for Romney -- as has Haley.

But the Lexington Republican has repeatedly said she would not accept a vice presidential invitation or cabinet appointment from Romney who she has endorsed.
