Alumni of three historically Black Midlands high schools met at the State House Tuesday for a House resolution honoring their schools. The resolution was presented by SC House Representatives Joe Neal, Leon Howard,left, and Joe McEachern, who read the resolution, along with the Lexington and Richland County Delegations. Accepting the resolution from is Gene Washington, who has made a film on the schools. The schools being honored are Lakeview High School (W. Columbia) and C.A. Johnson & Booker T. Washington High Schools (Columbia). They are being honored for their work in producing distingushed citizens such as the late Federal Judge Matthew Perry, NASA Director Charles F.
