The death of an airman at Shaw Air Force Base has been ruled a suicide, according to a news release.

The airman, 21, assigned to Shaw's 20th Security Forces Squadron, was found dead in her home around 12:20 p.m. Friday.

He had been stationed at Shaw since March 2010.

Base and local officials investigated the incident. No other details were released Monday.
