Hammond’s Seven Woods has been invited to participate in USA Basketball’s Developmental National Team Mini Camp.

Woods, 13, has been identified as one of the top players in the 2015 and 2016 classes. The purpose of this Mini Camp is to begin the process of selecting those who will be a part of the 2013-2014 Developmental National Team. The Mini Camp will be held Oct. 5-8 in Colorado Springs, Co.

Woods has had a busy summer, being named MVP in three national under-17 tournaments.

He plays for coach Mark McClam at Hammond.
