At Blythewood, the Bengals’ Dean Beckford rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries to lead Blythewood to a 21-12 win against Lancaster. Lancaster got 201 yards from its passing game, but gave up three interceptions.

The Bengals (3-1) travel to Sumter next week.

The Battling Bishops (3-1) were led by Griffie Loy’s two touchdowns.

GOOSE CREEK 56, FORT DORCHESTER 14

At Fort Dorchester, Goose Creek running back Tramel Terry scored four rushing touchdowns as the Gators routed the Patriots. The Georgia commitment rushed for 160 yards on 10 carries; he also caught two passes for 32 yards and a touchdown in amassing 192 all-purpose yards.

Goose Creek (4-0) visits Dutch Fork next week. Fort Dorchester falls to 1-3.

WOODRUFF 28, LAURENS 24

At Laurens, Rodrick Talley rushed for 332 yards on 35 carries in a losing effort.

SWANSEA 27, BATESBURG-LEESVILLE 7

At Batesburg-Leesville, Swansea’s Travis Loadholt rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns.Batesburg-Leesville’s Justin Watson had two fumble recoveries and Josh Hall picked off a pass and returned it 10 yards for a touchdown. Swansea finished the night with 448 total yards of offense.

Swansea (4-0) plays host to Barnwell next week. Batesburg-Leesville (2-2) travels to Gilbert.

At Johnsonville, Tushai Edwards had 12 carries for 185 yards and two touchdowns for the Flashes. Defensively, Tateley Anderson had seven tackles, a 37-yard fumble turn for a touchdown and a 30-yard interception returned for a touchdown.

At Saluda, the Tigers had 283 yards rushing and 127 passing for 410 yards of offense.

LIBERTY 37, POWDERSVILLE 14

At Liberty, the Red Devils got 300 of their total 381 yards from their running game and improves to 3-1.
