COLUMBIA — A man reported being robbed by two men at gunpoint as he was walking home on South Beltline Boulevard on Wednesday night.
The 32-year-old victim told Richland County deputies he was walking on the 500 block around 11:30 p.m. when two men approached. One suspect fired a shot in the air from a handgun and demanded money. The men took the victim's wallet and cash.
The victim described the suspects as black males, one about 6 feet tall and 160 pounds, wearing a gray hat and a white shirt. The only description for his companion was that he was wearing a black shirt.
