PHOTOS: Job seekers at Fort Jackson

National Guard Sgt. Richard Brooks talks with officer Rhonda Lewis from the Lexington Co. Sheriffs Department' Detention Bureau during a job fair that was held at Fort Jackson Tuesday morning for all veterans, military personnel, military spouses, retirees, and Department of Defense employees in search of employment. Brooks, a former truck driver, said he is seeking a job that fits in with his family life. More than 75 employers were present. The event is co-hosted by the Army Community Services Employment Readiness and The Army Career and Alumni Program.


Fort Jackson held a job fair Tuesday for any veterans, military personnel, military spouses and Defense Department employees.

The event, which was cohosted by the Army Community Services Employment Readiness and Army Caree and Alumni programs, rand from 9 a.m. to noon at the base's Solomon Center.

There more than 75 employers at the fair.
