Three forums will be held for the public to meet the 12 candidates running for the Lexington 1 school board.

The sessions will be: Oct. 11 at Gilbert High School, 840 Main St. , Gilbert; Oct. 18 at Pleasant Hill Middle School, 660 Rawl Road, Lexington; and Oct. 23 at Lexington Middle School, 702 N. Lake Drive, Lexington. The forum on Oct. 11 will start at 6 p.m. The other two will start at 6:30 p.m. All three forums will run 90 minutes.

The winners of the nonpartisan race will be decided Nov. 6. The top four vote-getters will take office.
