James G. Lasater has been promoted to executive vice president of NBSC, a division of Synovus Bank. Lasater brings 20 years of experience to the position, where he will oversee commercial bankers in Richland, Lexington and Kershaw counties. The University of South Carolina graduate also attended the Leadership Institute of Synovus, South Carolina Bankers School and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. Active in the community, Lasater is a member of the South Carolina Banker’s Association and serves as a company leader for the United Way.
