LEXINGTON-RICHLAND 5: Cocky's Reading Express made a stop Aug. 31 at Nursery Road Elementary. Students in pre-kindergarten through second grade enjoyed an assembly in which five books were read to them. Students were each given a copy of "Pete the Cat, I Love my White Shoes." As part of Cocky's Reading Express, USC students travel the state with their friend, Cocky, visiting elementary schools across South Carolina.
